Gary is a city in Lake County, Indiana, United States, 25 miles from downtown Chicago, Illinois. The population of Gary was 80,294 at the 2010 census, making it the ninth-largest city in the state of Indiana.

The Base is a 11 Point flower base. Next to the Adam Benjamin Jr. Metro Center, Across the street from Superior Courthouse and cady corner from the Gary City Hall. The base is plastered or cemented over so I could not find a plaque. The rays have been poorly replaced.
