This sister is the first to greet visitors to the Veterans Memorial Park in Cedar Falls.  She stands tall atop a 5 foot pedestal surrounded with walkways, flower beds, grass and trees.  The pedestal is constructed of memorial bricks naming local residents that have fallen in service to their country.  The points of her crown are in place and her skin is pure copper in color.

The center plaza in the park hosts several benches and a very large American flag further symbolizing the local patriotism found here.  There is no better place for her than within this well manicured park that memorializes the men and women that have given their lives to earn and keep the freedoms we have today.

We are always interested in hearing your stories and seeing your historical pictures of the sisters.  If you have a story to share or some images related to our Lady Liberty Sister please use our online form to submit your data.  We appreciate your assistance in keeping this site as complete and up to date as possible.
