Troy is a city in and the county seat of Doniphan County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 1,010. Troy is part of the St. Joseph, MO–KS Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Troy is a community stoked with history as evidenced by the Historical Marker plaque visible in the gallery below.  The sister is located on the south west corner of the county court house where she stands within an eleven point star planter base with a natural stone 5 foot pedestal.
