This sister has a bit of a tale to tell. Shortly after the city raised the necessary money to renovate her pedestal and surrounding area, she was STOLEN!! To date the authorities have no idea who might have removed her from her pedestal in August. However, an unidentified family reported seeing the statue sinking in the mud of the Blackwater River. Authorities retrieved her and she has since been returned to her rightful place in Marshall.
