Population: 268,738 (2013)

Elevation: 358 m

This sister is located at the entrance to the Lincoln Children’s Zoo Administrative Offices in a beautiful wooded cul de sac just off S 27th St. near the intersection with B St.  Her eleven point star planter base is enclosed within a stone circle and filled with flowers in season.  From the base rises a very tall pedestal built (looks to be at least eight feet tall) with stone blocks matching those of the outer circle ring.  She sits in the garden court yard in a distinguished central position.

UPDATE: 8/2021

The Lincoln, NE statue has moved locations.  It is now located at the Veterans Memorial Garden within Antelope Park on Veterans Memorial Drive (near the intersection of Normal Boulevard and A Street).  The statue sits in the middle of the Memorial Garden in an area filled with flowers in season.  The statue is surrounded by memorials to those who served.
