This sister stands on the south west corner of the Cherokee Nation Court House on the east side of Business Highway 62 just north of E Keetoowah St.  At the time of our visit she appears to have undergone refurbishing at some time.  She is a very dark color.  All of her crown points are in place.  Her pedestal is five feet of white painted cement.  She was donated to the city of Tahlequah by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Thompson as part of the Strengthen the Arm of Liberty campaign in 1950.

We are always interested in adding new stories and/or pictures (both old and new) to our site.  If you have anything you would like to contribute to this sister’s story then please use our online form to submit your information.  We really appreciate any and all assistance in keeping our site as up to date and complete as possible.
