Leon is a city in Decatur County, Iowa, United States. The population was 1,977 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Decatur County. The city is located near the Little River Lake Recreation Area.

This lady resides within and eleven point star base planter filled with seasonal flowers. From its center rises a 5 foot pedestal of the same brick materials. Her crown sill has all seven of her points on it. She stands on the west side of the Decatur County Court House just south of the central walkway.
