This sister has her base at the center of the tree filled city park which is itself at the center of town. She was donated by Emily Candice Williams Slaven in 1950. The plaque indicating the donation names eighteen of the donor’s descendants that served during WWII. Her base is a square planter filled with flowers in season and both it and her pedestal are constructed of brick and mortar and combined stand four feet tall. Her finish shows evidence of having been refurbished in its golden sheen.
