This sister is hosted by Fairmont’s VFW Post 629 located on Fairmont Ave at 8th St. She stands on the south west corner of the grounds within a circular planter will with seasonal flowers. From its center rises a polished polished marble pedestal upon which our sister resides. In imagery from 2013, Google Earth, she still has her crown points in place. We cannot tell if she has been refurbished or not. Perhaps you know something of her history?
