Cedar Rapids has placed this symbol of freedom in a position of prestige in the community. She has her own plaza in the middle of the 1st Avenue Bridge just south of the lock and dam on the Missouri River. She stands atop a four foot concrete pedestal surrounded by a huge multi-floral display in season. Parking is available within 50 feet of her position directly on the bridge so she is easy to visit. All her points on are in place on her crown and she has a beautiful finish.
