Just off the center field fence of the community ball park is the entrance to Hillsboro Memorial Park.  It is at this entrance that the local American Legion Post arranged to have our sister placed from her original position in the City Park.  The move occurred in 1985 after 35 years in her original place.   She stands atop a stone block pedestal and appears to be in need of refurbishment.  Her crown points are all present but her seems are clearly visible.  Even still, she doesn’t look to bad for being 66 years old!

We are always interested in hearing your stories and seeing your historical pictures of the sisters.  If you have a story to share or some images related to our Lady Liberty Sister pleaseuse our online form to submit your data.  We appreciate your assistance in keeping this site as complete and up to date as possible.
